The Fire and Rescue Bureau of the Ministry of Emergency Management issued fire safety tips for flood control resettlement sites

The concentration of people in the resettlement site increases the temporary use of fire and electricity, and increases the risk of fire.

Call on management units to implement the main responsibility of fire safety, the masses to strengthen safety precautions, and jointly create a good fire safety environment.

Volunteer fire service organizations should be established in resettlement sites to be responsible for fire safety inspections, publicity and education, and to quickly organize evacuation and fire fighting after a fire is discovered.

Personnel at resettlement sites should conscientiously fulfill their fire safety obligations

Consciously abide by various safety management regulations, and jointly maintain public fire safety.

The resettlement site should be equipped with necessary fire-fighting equipment such as fire extinguishers and fire-extinguishing blankets, and it should be inspected and maintained regularly to ensure that it is complete and easy to use.

Fire safety warning signs should be installed at the resettlement points

Do not pile up alcohol, gasoline and other flammable and explosive dangerous goods in violation of regulations.

The resettlement point should regularly check the electrical circuit

Do not overload electricity to prevent fire accidents caused by short circuits due to aging electrical lines.

The resettlement site shall not use high-power electrical appliances in violation of regulations, and shall not cook in violation of regulations, and timely discover and stop behaviors that cause fire safety hazards.

Mosquito coils should be kept away from combustibles when used in the resettlement site. When going out, ensure that the mosquito coils are extinguished. When using electric mosquito coils, do not open them for a long time, and turn them off as you go.

The resettlement site should keep evacuation passages and safety exits unblocked, clean up debris in time, do not throw cigarette butts, do not smoke in bed, and educate children not to play with fire.

Lightning frequently occurs in summer, and necessary lightning protection facilities should be installed at the resettlement site to avoid fires caused by lightning strikes.

When encountering a fire, pay attention to personal protection, quickly escape to the safety exit in an orderly manner, and do not be greedy for property.
